After years of working weddings with Dustin and Melissa as a DJ, James Fruits joined the One Red Door team as our Director of Cinematography. James has 15+ years of experience doing video production and has been working weddings for almost as long. His unique perspective being the Host/Emcee of weddings as an amazing DJ give him great insight, which paired with his lighthearted attitude makes his whole team fun to work with! With a deep love
for his community, James was named the Distinguished Citizen of the Year in 2012 for his work with his local school district. He has also won Best Video two times for the
Gurus Of Tech Film Festival. James is obsessed with story-telling which is why he and his team love telling your love story and the story of your wedding day! For sure someone who knows how to have fun, James rarely turns down a dare. See how that led to him being interviewed on national TV by Inside Edition!
For just over 10 years Curtis has used his degree to tell stories through speeches that motivate, challenge, and inspire. Who doesn’t love a good story? Now - Curtis loves to watch and see your story to help tell it in a way that celebrates who you are.
Husband, Dad, Protector, Friend are his adjectives and in his spare time you can find him swinging his kids on their swing in the backyard while listening to baseball on the radio. Yep. It doesn’t get much more baseball nerd than that.
